Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Proclassic Tyres collects through proclassicgroup.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and what choices you have. It is written for Zimbabwe’s Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07].
Who we are
Proclassic Tyres is the data controller for information collected on this website.

What we collect
- Quote requests. When you use a quote form we collect the tyre type, size, vehicle and quantity you ask about, your name, your WhatsApp or phone number, your company (optional), your nearest branch or delivery choice, whether you ticked the consent and offers boxes, the page you sent the form from and the time.
- Messages. If you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive your number or email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
- Website usage. If you click Accept on our cookie banner, Google Analytics records how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and clicks on our WhatsApp, phone and email links). If you click Decline or make no choice, no analytics cookies are set; Google may still receive basic signals that a page was viewed, without cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
- Hosting logs. Our website host receives your IP address and browser details when you load a page, as all websites do.
We do not ask for ID numbers, payment card details or other sensitive information on this website.
Why we use it
- To answer your quote request, check stock and prices, and arrange fitment, collection or delivery.
- To send you tyre offers and stock updates, but only if you ticked the optional offers box. You can stop these at any time.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it (only with your cookie consent).
- To keep business, tax and accounting records required by law if you buy from us.
We rely on your consent (the boxes on our forms and the cookie banner), on steps you ask us to take before buying, and on our legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with:
- Web3Forms, which delivers quote-form submissions to our email inbox.
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
- Google (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager), for website statistics, only with your cookie consent.
- GitHub, which hosts this website.
- The email service we use to receive and answer your messages.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Information sent outside Zimbabwe
The services above run on servers outside Zimbabwe (for example in the European Union and the United States). When you send a quote request, message us on WhatsApp or accept analytics cookies, your information is processed on those servers. We use these providers only for the purposes above, and each has its own security measures and data-protection terms.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and messages only for as long as we need them to answer you and follow up on your request, and then delete them. Sales and invoice records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
How we protect it
Quote requests go to a business inbox that only authorised staff can access, and the website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No system is completely secure, so please don’t send sensitive information through the website.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you and who we’ve shared it with;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information (unless we must keep it by law);
- stop using your information, including for offers;
- withdraw a consent you gave.

If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, you can complain to Zimbabwe’s Data Protection Authority, the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ).
Children
This website is meant for adults buying tyres. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way we use personal information changes, and change the date at the top.
